Early in his training he met Dr George Dodd, an Irish master perfumer who had retired to the Scottish Highlands, whose work covered pheromones, whisky aroma chemistry and natural materials. After Dodd died in 2020, Jorum became the custodian of his raw-material archive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eThe work\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe has run Jorum in Edinburgh since 2010, with his partner Chloe Mullen, who designs the packaging in-house. The studio is self-funded and makes everything itself, in batches of 100 to 1,000 bottles per perfume. Its collections include Progressive Botany (Arborist, Phloem, Nectary) and Selective Memory (Fantosmia).
