Tada Archawong

Siam1928

The Thai perfumer behind Tada Parfumeur, with more than fifty perfumes to his name and a strong pull towards Japan.

The story

Tada Archawong works across his own house, Tada Parfumeur, which accounts for most of his catalogue, and several other Thai brands: Proad, Shaman Perfumery (2025), Velvétail and Siam 1928.

The work

Many Tada Parfumeur perfumes carry Japanese names and themes, such as Gyokuro (2024), named after a shaded Japanese green tea, Shiroyuki (2022) and Akatsuki (2023). Others are tobacco studies, such as Black Cavendish and Latakia (2022). For Akatsuki and Latakia he worked with Prin Lomros. His Virupaksha Raja, guardian of the west, is one of the Four Heavenly Kings extraits by four Thai perfumers for Siam1928 (2025), each limited to 150 porcelain bottles. At Proad and Shaman Perfumery he has five perfumes each.

On Parfumo & Fragrantica

At Scentorium

Virupaksha Raja (Siam1928). In Buddhist tradition the Four Heavenly Kings guard the four directions: Dhatarattha the east, Virulhaka the south, Virupaksha the west and Kubera (Vessavana) the north. Virupaksha is the guardian who sees all. A good entry point to the four kings.
