Парфюми Neandertal
Създадени в Лондон от японския художник Kentaro Yamada, който започва да работи с аромата като художествена среда през 2015 г. Neandertal тръгва от един въпрос: откъде идваме и накъде отиваме? Всеки стъклен флакон е оформен като кремък – по образа на праисторически ръчни брадви, открити в Норфолк, Англия.
Три двойки, три противоположности. Dark (тамян, oud, кожа) срещу Light (хиноки, ирисов корен, метален акорд). Us – миналото (тамян, смирна, oud), срещу Them – бъдещето (морски водорасли, ирис, амбра). Is и Was, създадени по едно и също задание: единият от изкуствен интелект, другият от трима парфюмеристи. Neandertal не казва кой е кой.

The person behind the house
Kentaro Yamada
Artist, sculptor and founder of Neandertal
Kentaro Yamada is a Japanese artist and sculptor working in London. In 2015 he decided to treat scent as an art medium, and Neandertal grew out of that decision: a house that asks where we have come from, and where we are going.
He does not compose the perfumes himself. He sets the concept and chooses the perfumers: Euan McCall, Chris Maurice and, for Is and Was, three Symrise perfumers set against Symrise's own artificial intelligence.
The bottles start with him too. Their shape comes from flint hand axes, and the stoneware editions are made by hand by Yamada himself.
