Welcome to Scentorium! The terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to RECHARGE CENTER S.R.L., operating the Scentorium online store. The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: This Policy is governed exclusively by Romanian law (OUG 34/2014).  

European Union 14 Day Cooling-Off Period (Adapted for Hygiene Exception)

Notwithstanding the above 30-day policy, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 calendar days (the statutory right of withdrawal), for any reason and without justification, counting from the day you acquire physical possession of the goods.  

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

⚠️ CRITICAL EXCEPTION: LOSS OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In compliance with Article 16, letter e) of OUG 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed by the consumer.  

Since perfumes are classified as personal care and hygiene products, the breaking, removal, or visible deterioration of the original protective seal (e.g., cellophane wrap) constitutes unsealing and leads to the irreversible loss of the right to return the product, regardless of the 14-day or 30-day period. 

Returns Procedure and Costs

To start a return, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw, preferably using the Standard Withdrawal Form (Annex B of OUG 34/2014), which is available for download on our website. You can contact us at contact@scentorium.eu.

Refunds and Costs Obligation (Art. 13 & 14 OUG 34/2014)

• Refund Amount: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, we will automatically refund you the product cost PLUS the cost of the initial standard delivery (if any) to your original payment method, no later than 14 calendar days from the day we were informed of the withdrawal decision. 
• Return Shipping Cost: You shall bear the direct costs associated with the return of the goods (the shipping cost from you back to Scentorium), unless we explicitly agreed to support those costs.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

In addition to the hygiene exception detailed above, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 calendar days (The legal limit, replacing the 10 business days mentioned above). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@scentorium.eu.
