Scentorium Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines the architecture of our delivery process for the creations acquired from the Scentorium digital sanctuary, operated by RECHARGE CENTER S.R.L. Our framework ensures compliance with Romanian e-commerce laws (OUG 34/2014) and international transport regulations.

1. The Commitment to Time and Preservation

1.1. Processing and Dispatch We treat every flacon as a delicate piece of art. We strive to process, securely package (adhering to strict international standards for botanical and alcohol-based liquids), and dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days.

1.2. Delivery Period Obligation In accordance with distance contract regulations, Scentorium is committed to transferring the physical possession of your items without undue delay. The legal maximum period for fulfillment is 30 calendar days from order confirmation, though our curated courier partnerships aim to deliver your acquisitions much sooner. If an unforeseen logistical dissonance occurs, our concierge will notify you immediately.

2. Global Logistics: Destinations and Rates

Shipping costs are calculated transparently and will be summarized at checkout before payment confirmation. Transit times are estimated from the moment the parcel leaves our Bucharest sanctuary.

Bespoke Delivery (Unlisted Destinations): If your location is not displayed during checkout and you cannot complete your order, your journey with Scentorium does not end there. Because artisan perfumery requires specific international compliance, certain regions require manual calculation. Please contact our Concierge directly at contact@scentorium.eu, and we will curate a personalized logistical quote for your exact coordinates.

Note: The transfer of risk for loss or damage passes to you, the Consumer, the moment you (or a designated third party) acquire physical possession of the goods.

3. International Shipments: Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Non-EU)

Because Scentorium ships physical goods from our headquarters in Bucharest, Romania (European Union) to a global clientele, specific international trade rules apply based on your destination.

3.1. Deliveries within the European Union For clients residing within the EU, the price displayed at checkout is final. It includes the applicable local VAT. There are no additional customs duties or import taxes upon delivery.

3.2. Deliveries outside the European Union (Rest of the World) For our global connoisseurs (e.g., USA, UK, Asia, Oceania, Middle East, Africa), our shipments are strictly delivered on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.

• Mandatory Acknowledgment: The final price paid on the Scentorium website covers only the cost of the fragrance and the courier transport. It DOES NOT include additional local customs duties, clearance fees, or import taxes.

• Importer of Record: As the recipient, you are considered the Importer of Record. Your local Customs Authority may hold the package and charge import duties or taxes before releasing it. You are entirely responsible for paying these direct fees to the courier or customs agent. Refusal to pay these fees may result in the abandonment or return of the parcel, for which Scentorium is not financially liable.
