SCENTORIUM SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the delivery of products purchased from the Scentorium online store, operated by RECHARGE CENTER S.R.L. Our policy is compliant with Romanian law, notably Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (OUG 34/2014), which governs distance contracts, and regulations concerning imports from outside the European Union (Non-EU).
1. COMMITMENT TO DELIVERY TIME
1.1. Delivery Period Obligation
Scentorium is committed to transferring the physical possession or control of the goods to the Buyer without undue delay. In the absence of an explicitly agreed-upon delivery date between the parties, the Seller is legally obliged to deliver the goods within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract (the date the order was placed and confirmed).
1.2. Estimated Processing and Delivery Time
We strive to process and dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days. The actual transit time depends on the chosen courier service and the destination country. Please refer to Section 2.1 below for detailed estimated delivery times based on your specific region.
If Scentorium cannot fulfill the contract within the stipulated time or anticipates any unforeseen delays, we will notify the Buyer immediately.
2. SHIPPING COSTS AND TRANSFER OF RISK
2.1. Shipping Fees & Delivery Times
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination of the parcel. The total shipping cost will be clearly displayed in the shopping cart and summarized on the checkout page before the Buyer is required to confirm the payment.

2.2. Transfer of Risk
The risk of loss of or damage to the goods is transferred to the Consumer when the Consumer (or a third party designated by the Consumer, other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.
3. IMPORTED PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMS DUTIES (NON-EU)
Given that Scentorium specializes in niche perfumes, some of which are sourced from outside the European Union (Non-EU), specific rules regarding taxes and duties apply. The price displayed on the product page already includes VAT (if sold under the IOSS regime or if VAT is cleared at import by Scentorium).
3.1. General Rule: Price Transparency (IOSS vs. Non-IOSS)
Scentorium ensures that the final price paid by the consumer at checkout is transparent and complete, in line with OUG 34/2014.
If the intrinsic value of the shipment is EUR 150 or less, Scentorium aims to use the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS)scheme:

The final price displayed INCLUDES the Romanian VAT (TVA).

The Buyer will not pay any additional VAT or Customs Duties upon delivery in Romania.
3.2. Mandatory Warning for High-Value or Non-IOSS Shipments
If the intrinsic value of the shipment EXCEEDS EUR 150, or if Scentorium does not utilize the IOSS scheme for a specific reason (Non-IOSS Regime):
MANDATORY WARNING: The price displayed on the site (excluding shipping costs) DOES NOT include additional customs duties and/or import VAT, which may be charged by the Customs Authority or the carrier upon entry of the goods into the destination country.
In this scenario, the Buyer is considered the Importer of Record and is responsible for paying these fees directly to the courier or customs agent upon arrival.
