Neandertal
Neandertal Perfume
Trois paires, trois contraires. Dark (encens, oud, cuir) face à Light (hinoki, iris, un accord métallique). Us, le passé (oliban, myrrhe, oud), face à Them, le futur (algues marines, iris, ambre gris). Is et Was, nés du même brief : l'un par une intelligence artificielle, l'autre par trois parfumeurs. Neandertal ne dira pas lequel.
Tous en Eau de Parfum 30 ml.

The person behind the house
Kentaro Yamada
Artist, sculptor and founder of Neandertal
Kentaro Yamada is a Japanese artist and sculptor working in London. In 2015 he decided to treat scent as an art medium, and Neandertal grew out of that decision: a house that asks where we have come from, and where we are going.
He does not compose the perfumes himself. He sets the concept and chooses the perfumers: Euan McCall, Chris Maurice and, for Is and Was, three Symrise perfumers set against Symrise's own artificial intelligence.
The bottles start with him too. Their shape comes from flint hand axes, and the stoneware editions are made by hand by Yamada himself.
