Cele mai bune parfumuri de conifere și pădure din parfumeria de nișă

Forest perfumes are one of the reasons we started Scentorium. Most designer "woody" fragrances smell of a clean synthetic cedar and not much else. Real conifer perfumery is different: resinous fir balsam, sticky pine, damp moss, smoke, sometimes mushroom and soil. Here is how we'd find your way into it.

Start bright: fresh fir and pine

If you like the smell of a cut Christmas tree or a cold mountain walk, start here. Subalpine by Pineward is fir, sandalwood and black pepper, light enough for every day. Boreal adds mint for a properly cold, northern feel, and Greymist pairs noble fir with citron and a little blond tobacco. From Apoteker Tepe, Anabasis mixes shiso and mint into a forest of cedar and pine.

Go deeper: resin, balsam and smoke

This is where conifer perfumes get interesting. White Fir is built on Pineward's own white fir absolute, with orange, ginger and clove: festive, but wearable all year. Snoqualmie is almost entirely natural, a dark blend of Douglas fir, balsam fir, red cedar and sandarac. For smoke, try The Holy Mountain by Apoteker Tepe, pine smoke and incense over labdanum, or Pineward's Cotswold, a cedar cabin with the fire lit.

The dark end: moss, soil and wet woods

For people who want the forest floor rather than the treetops. Bindebole smells of poplar buds and crushed leaves after rain. Murkwood and Fanghorn II go darker still, with hemlock, lichen, wet soil and incense. And if you are curious about the far end, Funerie adds mushroom, decayed rose and leather. Not for everyone, which is the point.

How to choose

Conifer perfumes vary a lot on skin, so we always suggest sampling first. Most Pineward fragrances come as 1.8ml samples, and the discovery sets let you try a whole line side by side. You can also browse everything in this family in our Forest & Conifer collection.
