If this season could be broken down into one massive global trend it would be Pumpkin Spice! The Ultimate sign of the change of season this flavor has almost defined the start of Fall. Jason has taken this trend and transformed it into the most magical natural fragrance, Pumpkin Spice Oud! Every material was chosen to bolster that Pumpkin spice accord, from the vanilla to the incense. It starts off with a blast of all your fall favorites, Spice, Vanilla, and Rum, inviting you in and posting you up right by the fireplace. The Floral heart smoothens out some of the harsh edges from the spices but never becomes noticeable, as it is not the focus of this perfume. As we get into the Base it's all about Oud, specifically Hue Oud. Hue Oud has a lot of incense properties, not smoke, like a clean Oud chip sitting on a mica plate on low temp. Intoxicating with every sniff. Red Meat Sandalwood was used to increase the creaminess in this blend as well as the Mongolian Deer Musk with its sweet properties. This is one of those seductive scents, beware when wearing this because your significant other will not be able to keep their hands off of you! You have been warned!
Jason is a dark, steady fragrance that draws its character from smoke, spice, and the warmth of roasted grain. It opens with a calm but powerful mix of pumpkin spice and incense, two notes that set the tone immediately. The spice adds heat, while the incense cools it with quiet smoke. A trace of rum CO₂ runs underneath, giving a smooth depth, and white ambergris brightens the blend just enough to keep it open and balanced.
The pumpkin spice isn’t sugary or sweet; it’s composed and aromatic, woven with dry cinnamon and clove. The incense softens the spice, adding a mineral edge that gives the fragrance its focus.
In the heart, the composition turns smoother. Frangipani adds a gentle floral tone that never dominates, only rounds the edges. Nutmeg joins the existing spice, creating a quiet rhythm that ties the opening to the base. Rose and magnolia bring a natural softness, they sit low in the blend, acting like texture rather than decoration. Peru balsam gives the mid-section a resin note that’s warm, slightly sweet, and perfectly in step with the spicy top.
At the base of Jason sits its foundation: Hue Oud, French vanilla, and roasted barley. Each 15ml bottle holds 1 gram of pure Hue Oud, a material chosen for its deep incense tone and faint smokiness. It adds structure and weight to the perfume, helping the spices settle into something lasting and confident. The French vanilla runs through the base like a thread smooth, rounded, and creamy but never heavy. It keeps the oud from feeling dry and blends naturally into the roasted barley, which gives the scent a warm, toasted pastry quality. The barley is what makes Jason distinct; it adds character without sweetness, giving the perfume a note that feels familiar and quietly comforting.
Supporting the base are labdanum, benzoin, red meat sandalwood, and Mongolian musk. Together they create a soft, resinous structure that holds the blend steady for hours. The labdanum and benzoin lend a deep amber tone, glowing and resinous. The sandalwood adds a smooth wood texture, faintly leathery and warm, while the musk ties everything to the skin with a subtle, lasting presence.
Over time, Jason moves from its spicy beginning into a creamy, smoky base. The incense fades slowly, leaving traces of wood and resin behind. The vanilla and oud take over, blending into a scent that feels mature, even-tempered, and long-lasting. The roasted barley remains noticeable throughout, giving the fragrance a dry warmth that sets it apart from traditional amber or gourmand blends.
