Description
Tabac Sura was born from a personal obsession with finding a true cigar scent that strips away the cloying sugar found in commercial perfumery. It is a rugged and uncompromising experience that began as a private experiment and evolved into a year-long quest for perfection. The fragrance is built upon a massive foundation of house-matured 2023 Cigar Tincture blended with vintage 2022 Vanilla Tincture. This creates a base of incredible depth without the need for additional perfumer's alcohol as it relies solely on the potency of its macerated materials.
Into this dark liquid rich essences are folded to shape a scent that is dry, smoky, and profoundly sophisticated. A rare 2011 distilled Trat Oud oil adds a resinous and woody backbone while real Ambergris and Deer Musk provide a feral and velvety texture that sits close to the skin. Aged Castoreum and Oakwood Extract amplify the sensation of sitting in a worn leather chair with a fine cigar while Cocoa and Tonka Bean offer a whisper of dry darkness rather than sweetness. This is a limited artifact of olfactory art. With the initial run of fifty bottles nearly exhausted and the next batch aging until late 2025 this is a fleeting opportunity to own a reference tobacco fragrance.
