Nutt Wesshasartar

Siam1928 · Voyager

A fourth-generation Thai perfumer who carries a royal family recipe from 1928 into modern niche perfumery.

The story

Nutt Wesshasartar learned traditional Thai perfumery from his family, who have made sacred ceremonial fragrances since 1928. The house's founder, Khun Ying Boontham, an assistant to a daughter of King Rama IV, created Num Ob Prung Chaokhun, a traditional Thai scented water. From 2018 he taught himself modern perfumery.

The work

At Siam1928 he writes a poem for each perfume. The porcelain bottles won a Design Excellence Award (DEmark) in 2020. Mekha Aranya won the 2025 Art and Olfaction Award in the Artisan category. He also composes the playful Voyager line and EVC Parfum, and made I Am Darkness for Azman (2022).
