The perfumer

Aichi Liu is a self-taught Taiwanese perfumer who studied in the United Kingdom and spent time in Germany, where Berlin left a lasting influence on her creative work.

Her journey into perfumery began as a collector at sixteen. With no formal background in chemistry, she began exploring aroma materials and formulas during the pandemic. About a year later, she created her first perfume, Aftermath, and founded OM Parfum in Taiwan in 2021.

For Aichi, perfume is not a symbol of luxury, but an artistic expression of the human soul, shaped by memories, emotions, philosophy, and personal experiences.

The work

Her perfumes begin with images, feelings, and stories. She brings together materials that naturally belong together, then introduces unexpected contrasts — a signature of her compositions. Oud, patchouli, and tea frequently appear in her work.

Guided by artistic integrity, OM Parfum explores the human soul through an ever-expanding multiverse of scent, drawing inspiration from history, cinema, memories, and the unseen dimensions of existence.

Her creations span different artistic worlds, from Mate-O and Ostalgie to King of Summerisle, Concubine, the seven sins (Lust), the personal OM line and the Outsider series. LAMB is available only at Scentorium – no other retailer carries it.

The number 6 holds personal significance for Aichi in numerology and corresponds to The Lovers card in Tarot, which is why she chose this imagery to represent her work.

The OM Parfum collection, the OM and Outsider series, and LAMB, available only at Scentorium. The Japanese debut took place at the Hankyu Men's Tokyo event 香跡万里, from 4 to 10 March 2026.
