Based in Poland, Profundum is the shared, uncompromising vision of Schneider and his creative partner, co-founder Bartłomiej "Bartek" Cygan.

Schneider’s work is not about conformity; it's about smelling real. Profundum serves as a "perfumed journal" of their shared Polish memories, rejecting polite traditions in favor of authentic, evocative experiences. Dominik bottles the raw, often brutal, beauty of his homeland:

• The sharp, damp scent of the deep woods from childhood adventures—a primal connection to nature.

• The unmistakable, sacred smoke of a bonfire crackling in the cold night air.

• The stark, ancient aroma of church incense lingering in historical Polish settings.

As a perfumer, Dominik Schneider’s style is unapologetically bold. This is not factory-made fragrance. He operates under a principle of pure craftsmanship, working in small, artisanal batches and utilizing massive concentrations (some up to 42%) to achieve exceptional depth, power, and genuine longevity.

His debut creation, "Martyr," (composed in 2023) is the brand's mission statement: a provocative, deeply felt composition of smoke, cinders, metallic notes, charred wood, and leather.
