When the Linden Blooms 椴樹花影

The first release from our Berlin Map series.
Backstory:
This is my imagination of trying to capture the beauty of June, and July, on Ünter den Linden in the heart of Berlin- Mitte. Normally people don't associate this area in being romantic, well, apart from the night walks with street lamps and parks packed with teenagers and alcoholism, if you find this romantic well, why not!
As of now Linden trees are hardly seen anymore on the avenue, they've had them removed, but in my imaginary world, they live.
I find this place exceptionally fascinating as this was the heart of the era of imperial Germany, where the Cold War Checkpoint Charlie was, lovers and families from the East and West had to undergo the pain of separation, as to today this area has become a tourist attraction with museums. A university, the Dom, and the Russian Embassy are also the highlight of Ünter den Linden.
Towards the end of the Ünter den Linden, the iconic Brandenburg Tor (Gate), which survived from the bombing of WWII, stands alone, looking tall and majestic, just like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Anyhow, I'm not here to recap history, though it may seem a bit melancholy due to the historic facts, but I tend to see this as a walk of gratitude -with every step we take on Ünter den Linden.
The fresh summer breeze in Berlin is exceptionally calming, and satisfying. The smell of bygone days of Linden Blossom could be as enchanting as a piece of music with all the right notes - As I invite you to embark on this fantasy walk with me with "When the Linden Blooms", when everything is possible, when everything is ready to bloom and anew.
“As long as on Unter den Linden the old trees bloom, nothing can surpass it, Berlin is still Berlin!” A song written in 1949.
Scents:
Juicy Italian bergamot and an outburst of linden blossom catches the centre of attention. The soothing smell of Linden bouquet, the flowers radiate like the warm sun in the morning of June, with hints of honeysuckle, and apricot.
When the party settles down a little more, a new floral note is introduced, Osmanthus flower. It brings front the smell of creaminess, slightly leathery smell, and fruitiness into the mid note. In the meanwhile, you get whiffs of freshly brewed green tea popping in. It's like being served a nice cup of green tea under the Linden tree where you enjoy your afternoon walk.
The background is built with jasmine flowers, white lilac, and clean cedar woods. It's a love story told under the Linden trees in the summer days. Two people sharing one kiss on the lips. Suitable to wear all year round.
However, the scent wouldn't be quite finished without a little kick of cannabis and oud. It is overall Berlin, wherever you go you get an ever so slightly smell of someone smoking pot. But fear not, you won't detect where my cannabis accord comes from because it's very hard to pick it up in the scent!

THE SCENTORIUM MANIFESTO: Art Resists Fragmentation
Scentorium does not merely retail fragrance. We function as a curated gallery dedicated exclusively to artisanal olfactory art. Our portfolio is ruthlessly filtered, featuring only independent houses that create with absolute intention, rarity, and vision.
We respect the craftsmanship of independent perfumers too much to compromise their creations. Therefore, we operate on a singular, uncompromising principle: The Purity of the Original Experience.
The Threat to the Olfactory Vision
An artisanal perfume is a delicate, perfectly balanced ecosystem. The exact moment the liquid is extracted from its controlled environment on the grey market—exposed to oxygen, light, plastic syringes, and inferior glass vials by unauthorized resellers—its olfactory profile is irrevocably damaged. The top notes oxidize, the base degrades, and the artist's original vision is obliterated.
This is why Scentorium categorically condemns the fractional grey market. It strips perfume of its pedigree and turns art into a compromised commodity.
Our Rules of Engagement:
- Zero Compromise on Full Bottles: We exclusively retail full bottles exactly as designed, sealed, and shipped by the creator. We assume zero responsibility for any product purchased outside our official network.
- The Provenance Guarantee: Purchasing from Scentorium ensures the fragrance traveled straight from the perfumer’s atelier to your hands within a flawlessly climate-controlled, unbroken chain of custody.
- Right of Refusal: Any client identified as purchasing from our portfolio with the intent of fractional resale on unauthorized platforms will permanently lose the privilege of acquiring works through Scentorium.
The Authorized Sampling Program: Exploration with Respect
We recognize a fundamental truth of artisanal perfumery: true masterpieces cannot be rushed. They require time, skin chemistry, and intimate exploration before committing to a full bottle.
The solution to this is not the illicit fragmentation of art. The solution is absolute transparency and control.
To honor the discovery process, Scentorium provides an Authorized Sampling Program.
We offer official discovery sets crafted directly by our partner houses. For exceptional brands that do not produce their own official samples, Scentorium bridges the gap—but we do not operate in the shadows.
Every custom Scentorium sample is created with the explicit, formal authorization of the parent brand. We do not "decant."
We perform authorized extractions using clinically sterile glass instruments in a strictly climate-controlled environment. This ensures zero cross-contamination, minimal oxygen exposure, and the perfect preservation of the scent profile.
We provide these authorized extractions for one reason only: pure olfactory discovery. They are curated tools designed to lead you to the complete artwork, not commodities meant for endless fractional resale.
Experience the creator’s true intention.
Do not settle for unverified fractions.
